Cancún is the tourist destination resort that receives the highest number of visitors in Mexico, and is well known worldwide. It is famous for its white sand beaches, turquoise waters, exciting nightlife and outstanding hotels. It is the ‘Mundo Maya’ point of entry, and serves as a base for visiting the different attractions of the Mayan Riviera and the Mexican Caribbean Coast.

The airport has two terminal buildings besides an FBO Terminal. Terminal 1 serves charter flights, and Terminal 2 is for arriving and departing scheduled commercial flights, both domestic and international. The FBO Terminal provides services for general aviation.

There are three parking lots that cost $20.00 pesos per hour, $150.00 pesos per day or $800.00 per month.

medical services
These services are provided 24 hours a day by the Airport Medical Service and the paramedics from the Fire Fighting and Rescue Corps.

disables services
If you require a wheelchair, please ask for one at your airline desk or in advance to your travel agent for them to prearrange it. There are facilities for disabled people throughout the airport, such as ramps, bathrooms and elevators.

In order to offer all our passengers safety and peace of mind, the airport has state-of-the-art X-ray machines in Terminals 1 and 2, as well as a Fire Fighting and Rescue Corps and round-the-clock surveillance in all terminal areas, supported by a closed-circuit surveillance system.
